Cost Controller
Job Overview:
In this role, you will work collaboratively with various department managers to analyze cost, assess vendor relationship, and maximize profitability. To succeed in this position, you will have to demonstrate an aptitude for efficiency, problem solving and resourcefulness with a deep commitment to the bottom line without compromising quality
Core Responsibilities:
- Review the daily intake of products into the hotel and ensure accurate pricing and quantity of goods received. Performed test checking on the receiving and issuing of goods at the hotel to ensure that the procedures are followed correctly.
- Establish monthly inventory procedures to ensure accuracy of inventory, stock control and valuation of stock. Investigate on variances and recommend corrective action.
- Monitor stock levels in all outlets, enquire and report on discrepancies and highlight over stocking of products in outlets.
Experience:
- Diploma in Accounting or ACCA Level will be an advantage
- Experience in Food and Beverages/Tourism Sector.
- Knowledge of software like Material Control, Opera and Micros Symphony.
