Our client, a law firm is seeking to recruit a Corporate Insolvency Coordinator who will report to the Partner. The incumbent will provide support in managing insolvency appointments, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and reporting tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing reports, correspondence, public notices and other documentation related to insolvency cases.
- Maintain accurate records of receipts, payments, and financial transactions.
- Prepare liquidation, administration, and receivership reports, including receipts and payments.
- Liaise with creditors, debtors and stakeholders to facilitate communication and case management.
- Attend to filing of necessary documentation with regulatory authorities and/ or courts.
- Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and draft minutes for insolvency proceedings.
- Manage assignment files and update databases with relevant insolvency information.
- Conduct preliminary research on insolvency laws and procedures (in relation to administrative and non-contentious matters only).
- Handle telephone inquiries and provide administrative support to the insolvency practitioner.
- Attend to court to represent the insolvency practitioner in relation to court cases that are not personal to the insolvency practitioner.
- Attend to site visits in relation to the sale of assets.
Profile:
- Bachelor Degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with financial data and maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of insolvency procedures and corporate restructuring (prefered but not mandatory).
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
