The purpose of this role is to ensures that patients have a clear understanding of their treatment protocols and assists in the meticulous follow-up of their treatment plans.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support by assisting the main doctors during procedures such as embryo replacement, frozen embryo replacement, and Intrauterine Insemination (IUI).
- Follow up on lab results, report critical findings to the Medical Director promptly, and provide feedback to patients.
- Manage the ordering, inventory, and dispensing of medications and clinical consumables.
- Organize pre-treatment appointments, prepare instructions for patients, and coordinate programming/batching of patients for IVF, FER, IUI, and surgeries.
- Handle all patient queries via email and phone, ensuring high standards of patient service and satisfaction.
- Liaise with the laboratory to book embryo replacements and update patients about the progression of embryos after ovum pickup.
- Ensure continuous patient support.
- Perform any other cognate duties as directed by the Medical Director.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Nursing or Medicine
- Previous experience in a fertility clinic or similar medical environment is highly desirable
Knowledge and Technical Competencies
- Excellent phlebotomy and clinical skills with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
- Proficiency in managing patient data and familiarity with healthcare management systems
Behavioural Competencies
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication abilities and a compassionate approach to patient care.
