Role Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain general ledger integrity, support month-end and year-end close processes, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements / individual income tax / societies.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process through data analysis and reporting.
- Maintain fixed asset register and process depreciation schedules.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, procedures, and financial regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Submission of VAT / TDS / ROE / ROD.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare weekly/monthly cash flow reports.
- Payroll computation and submission of statutory returns.
Qualifications and Experience:
- ACCA Level 1 required; currently pursuing ACCA Level 2 will be an advantage.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Accounting or a similar field required.
Knowledge and Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experienced in preparing Financial Statements, VAT returns, and payroll.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.
