📝 What You’ll Do

As a Claims Payment Officer, you’ll play a key role in the accurate and timely processing of claims, supporting our commitment to operational excellence and member satisfaction. Your responsibilities include:

• Batch/pay all claims, both outpatient and inpatient, on a daily basis. Print cheques twice a week and send remittance advice daily to clinics. 
• Enter batch payment details into the system daily and ensure all claim listings and reports are accurate. 
• Follow-up on emails regarding cancelled claims should be conducted between departments to prevent duplicate or incorrect payments. 
• Respond to emails promptly, ideally within 48 hours, as and when required. 
• Review SQL reports for outpatient and inpatient claims daily. 
• Follow up on pending claims for payments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Higher School Certificate (HSC)

• Minimum 2 years of operational experience in a medical or healthcare-related environment

Key Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• High accuracy in data capturing and system input

• Solid understanding of healthcare/medical terminology

• Strong customer focus with a service-oriented mindset
