Cashier / Barista

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cashier/Barista. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee and customer service and can multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing hot and cold beverages and handling payments with accuracy and professionalism.

Main Responsibilities

Cashier Duties :

• Greet customers warmly and take orders clearly and accurately.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process payments (cash, card, JuiceByMCB, etc.).
• Issue receipts, give correct change, and maintain accurate cash handling at all times.
• Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Assist customers with product information and promote daily specials or promotions.
• Balance the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts (if required).

 Barista Duties :

• Prepare drink orders (e.g., iced drinks, tea, etc.).
• Help restock ingredients, cups, lids, and other barista supplies.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, tables, and equipment as needed.
• Run completed orders to customers or organize takeaway orders.
• Ensure the outlet remains clean and presentable throughout the day.

• Ensure a friendly and positive experience for every customer.
• Answer customer queries and resolve issues politely and professionally.
• Assist with cleaning tables, refilling displays, and general upkeep of the shop.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a cashier or barista is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, French & Creole.
• Basic math skills for cash handling.
• Honest, punctual, and team oriented.
• Flexibility to work on weekends
• Open to expatriates
