Prepares and cooks food according to recipes, ensures food quality and presentation, maintains a clean and sanitary kitchen, and manages inventory , to meet customer expectations and contribute to the Hotel success.

 

  1. Ensure that all day to day operational matters are handled on time and guest expectations are met.
  2. Ensures food preparation and presentation in relevant food production area conform to the requisite standards.
  3. Ensures that food is stored, prepared and secured hygienically and safely.
  4. Maintains standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen and related areas.
  5. Checks mise-en-place and preparation procedures ensuring that procedures are correctly followed.
  6. Reports any engineering defects to immediate supervisors.
