Analyst Operational Risk

The Risk Analyst will help implement and maintain risk frameworks, ensuring effective identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring across CIM’s business lines and support functions.

Description:

The Risk Analyst will help implement and maintain risk frameworks, ensuring effective identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring across CIM’s business lines and support functions. This role involves analyzing risk data, strengthening risk management practices, reviewing policies and controls, and recommending improvements.

• Help roll out the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across the company
• Run regular risk and control assessments in different departments
  
• Report risk incidents quickly and accurately, and support root cause analysis
  
• Track risk trends and control gaps, and follow up on action plans
  
• Raise awareness and guide teams on operational risk practices
  
• Keep records up to date – policies, processes, risk registers, indicators, and incidents
  
• Support the Risk Manager with business continuity planning
  
• Take on other related tasks to support the business unit

• A degree in Risk Management, IT, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  
• Candidates pursuing or holding professional certifications (e.g., CRM, CFA, ACCA) are preferred.
• Expertise in Operational Risk Management, with an understanding of best practices and industry standard.
  
• Proactive, detail-oriented and analytical, with excellent problem-solving, reporting, and communication skills.
