Assistant Financial Accountant

FLOREAL INTERNATIONAL LTD is currently looking for a dynamic Assistant Financial Accountant to join the Finance Team.

What you will be doing:

• Prepare and publish prompt monthly and quarterly reporting;
• Contribute positively to profit maximization;
• Ensure that year-end audits are completed on deadline without anomalies;
• Assist in the preparation of yearly budget;
• Supervise the team (including Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables and Fixed Assets process) and attend to queries;
• Assistant the Accountant in preparing and analysing monthly management accounts, including detailed cost variance analysis to support operational decision-making.
• Monitor production efficiency and wastage, linking financial performance with key manufacturing KPIs.
  • Assist in preparing rolling forecasts and annual budgets by working closely with production, supply chain, and marketing teams.
  • Highlight trends and variances in raw material and WIP costs.
  • Support management with dashboards and insightful reports to track performance across units.
  • Maintain a clear power of expenditures;
  • Ensure all costs/payments are approved by the people who have accountability for it;
  • Ensure proper internal control systems are in place:
  • In procurement to pay processes
  • In payroll processes
  • To protect the company’s assets from fraud and theft.

What are we looking for?

• At least a degree in Finance/Accounting or ACCA level 2;
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role;
• Good presentation and communication skills;
• Well versed with Microsoft Office (including excellent Excel skills)
• Oracle Financials, Supply Chain and Power BI knowledge will be an advantage.
