Plan the task for the department and distribute assignments accordingly
•Assist Executive Housekeeper in maintaining close control and inventory of uniforms, supplies and equipment
•Attend Training (OJT, external, in-house) as and when required
•Conduct training with team members (OJT) and ensure that reports are submitted to the HR Department on a weekly basis
•Ensure proper grooming and uniforms of team members including yourself as per the standard of the Hotel
•Control rosters and attendance records (Refund Hours , Sick Leaves & Local Leaves)
•Investigate concern regarding housekeeping service and equipment and takes corrective action
•Check URSULA regularly to control punctuality, absenteeism, overtime and casual labourin order tomake sure team members have recorded their IN and OUT duty time
•Attend daily briefings and regular meetings with staff members to share information and resolve work issues and conduct same in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper
•Provide regular feedback to team members on their performance, conduct the performance evaluation of subordinates and complete performance appraisal reports in accordance with HR policy and guidelines
•Establish training and development plans for subordinates and organise and facilitate induction, on the job training, demonstration and coaching sessions in order todevelop knowledge and competencies (for example knowledge of all room categories and amenities use)
•Attend to any guest complaints and take service recovery measures if required
•Share guests feedback with team members
•Any other cognate duties
