Assistant Bartender- Ocean Basket Lacroisette

Island Living is recruiting a full timer Assistant Bartender for Ocean Basket Lacroisette

Responsibilities

• Prepare the bar for service including all mise en place.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by handling bar transactions in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner.
• Mix and pour drinks according to prescribed recipes or portions, referring to recipe cards as needed.
• Ensure that all items received by the customer are charged for and correct bill is issued
• Team work – relief other team members when needed to ensure smooth running of operations
• Be knowledgeable about and be able to operate the computer point of sales system.

Qualifications, Profile and Experience:

• SC/HSC/BAC academic qualification.
• Work experience in the hospitality sector in a similar position would be an advantage.
• Dynamic, motivated with good administration skills, coupled with a high level of integrity.
• Organised and able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Able to work on a shift system, on irregular hours, on Weekends and Public Holidays.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
