The Accounts Officer is responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the finance team in ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and journal entries
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Prepare financial reports as required by management
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounting or similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and analytical abilities
