Accountant

To perform a broad scope of accounting activities such as financial reporting, taxation, auditing, forensic accounting, corporate finance, in order to provide information on financial records in a methodical and planned manner. To report to the Financial Controller of the Group

• To control income and expenditure and conduct standards journal entries.
• To closely monitor cash flow
• To make use of an Accounting software to make all necessary entries
• To reconcile the physical inventory counts
• To prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial entries, documents and reports to assess accuracy and correct errors and inconsistencies
• To prepare financial statements – monthly, quarterly  and/or yearly
• To analyze daily banking transactions
• To prepare detailed cost accounting information
• To monitor and approve transaction within the limits established by Management
• To detect, report and prevent fraud
• To follow up Debtors together with Financial Controller and submit all Ageing Reports.
• To make sure to comply to company’s procedures and accounting principles at all times
• To work with external auditors and external Accounting Company and deal efficiently with all arising financial irregularities
• To ensure that all Tax return (VAT Return, PAYE) and any other statutory returns are prepared  accordingly and accurate information are provided
• To analyze all financial transactions, forecast expenses, propose possible solutions 
• To assist Financial Controller in the Budget preparation (Revised and yearly budget)
