Job Overview:
Our client is seeking for an Accountant to be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Finance department. The role will also assist and participate in the preparation and finalisation of Financial Statements, budget, business plan and strategy papers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payment from Kissflow PO/PI
- Prepare Administration expenses
- Update share point
- Preparation of account for Pension Fund
- Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly account
- Preparation of schedules for Pension Fund and company
- Process premium collection from check off and clearing of deposits
- Process monthly journal entries for recording of receipts from loans
- Perform bank reconciliation
- Prepare monthly cash flow for Pension Fund and company and actively monitor cash balances
- Assist in Preparation of Budget (3 Years and 5 Years (Including preparing schedules for Fixed assets/expenses and others)
- Handle and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closings/ FSC returns/ FSC surveys
- Attend to Auditor’s queries internal/ external/ FSC/MRA
- Provide financial reports and interpreting financial information to members of Management Committee and Pension Trustees
- Ensure statement of emolument /tax certificates are sent on time.
- Participate in digitalization projects
- Participate in IFRS17 implementation
- Provide assistance and on the job training to develop skills of staff of Finance department staff to deliver proactive support to business line management
- Upgrade the efficiency of the Accounts preparation process
Job Requirements:
- Minimum ACCA Level 2 completed with at least 5-7 years of experience in Accounting field
- MS Office skills
- Communication skills, both oral and written, in French and English.
- Good planning and organising skills, with the ability to multi-tasking
- Self motivated, good interpersonal skills and team player
