The Application Support Analyst will participate in the management of the implementation, maintenance and enhancement of banking applications systems whilst ensuring efficient and effective IT services are being provided.
Assist the IT application team to ensure smooth operation and support of all banking applications
Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand application requirements and provide expert support and guidance
Assist business stakeholders in ensuring alignment of production support road maps and staff capabilities to business expectations, growth plan and new opportunities
Implement best practices for application support processes and procedures
Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and maintained
Manage incident and problem resolution, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues
Collaborate with IT stakeholders to address application-related issues and ensure service delivery
Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement
Provide regular reporting and updates to management on application support activities and performance
Stay up to date with industry trends, practices and advancements in all banking applications in line with Bank’s IT Policies and procedures.
Assist in ensuring closure of all audit points and IT security concerns related to in-domain applications
Oversee the issue log of all related applications to maintain and enhance applications performance and stability
Ensure timely return of Bank of Mauritius reporting
Perform any other related duties, as may be assigned.
