AML/CFT Analyst

BDO IT Consulting Ltd is looking for a motivated AML/CFT Analyst who will monitor transaction alerts, conduct in-depth analyses, and ensure compliance with AML/CFT regulations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will be responsible to assist in designing appropriate written procedures to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.

• Perform independent AML/CFT audits for clients.

• Assist in the preparation of audit reports when conducting independent AML/CFT audits for clients.

• Assist with the preparation of training material and deliver training in AML/CFT with regulatory obligations and business procedures.

• Assist in providing advice to clients with respect to regulatory and KYC/AML related matters.

• Provide assistance to the team on AML/CFT matters.

• Assist with monitoring changes in relevant legal requirements and other regulatory developments and advise on their implications.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree level qualification, or equivalent, ideally in Law and Management, Finance minor Law or Law & Criminal Justice 

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Well organised with the ability to work autonomously

• Good communication skills

• Excellent writing skills

• Quick learner, eager to learn new skills and apply them quickly to produce results

• Strong analytical skills with abuility to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

• Demonstrate ability to work withing a team environment

• Good problem solver and investigate skills

• Ability to prioritise and manage workload

• Ability to work under pressure

• Knowledge of the Mauritian Regulatory Environment in the Financial Services sector will be a definite advantage
