To prepare beverges whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic; cold or hot and maintain appealing display, cleanliness, order, set-up and “mise en place” of the different bars, and to deliver professional and friendly service to guests as per the Hotel’s standards.

Bar Operations
- Regularly clears and cleans tables and the bar counter, and empties ashtrays.
- Assists team members in performing “mise en place” of the bar counter and tables, and in transporting goods properly.
- Neatly displays bottles and polished glasses and various decoration items on shelves.
- Prepares hot and cold beverages and mixes ingredients for cocktail preparations in accordance with the Hotel’s standards.
- Replenishes drink and cigarette dispensers and refrigerators in order to keep a minimum bar stock at hand at all times.
- Verifies availability of all food and beverages before service and takes appropriate action to replenish and/or find alternative.
Order Taking & Processing
- Verifies that order forms are accurately filled out by bar staff.
- Double checks tray before serving guest to ensure food and beverages items tally with orders.
- Monitors the expiry date of the products that are served in the bar.
Billing Procedures
- Checks at all the times that bills are accurate and signed by guests, and returned to the cashier in accordance with billing procedures.
- Forwards cash bills, as soon as possible, and within five minutes from receiving from bar helpers or guests.
- Ensures all drinks served are supported by an order ticket (KOT)
- Follows-up on bill pending.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Holds at least a School Certificate.
• A minimum of 2 years working experience as Assistant Bartender.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent oral and communication skills.
• Able to work flexible hours.
