Our Client is seeking to recruit a Receptionist/Cashier for its operation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide answers to visitors and customers’ about the company, the products and terms of payments when necessary
  • Coordinate activities around the front desk/reception premise
  • Direct visitors and clients/customers to their desired destinations in the premise
  • Sort and handle out mail messages whether incoming or outgoing
  • Answer incoming calls on multi-line telephones
  • Receive payments by cash, cheque, credit cards, or automatic debits
  • Issue receipts, refunds or change due to customers
  • Liaise with the Accountant or the Assistant Accountant for any matter relating to payments
  • Perform varieties of other administration tasks as directed by Finance and Administration Manager; this could include faxing, emailing or even assisting other departments that need help

Profile:

  • HSC with at least 5 years' experience as Receptionist and handling cash
  • Possession of effective verbal communication skills is a very important prerequisite
  • Microsoft Office Skills: A fair knowledge of the computer and how to use Microsoft Office package is required
  • Customer focus and must be able to handle pressure when dealing with large amount of money
