Our Client is seeking to recruit a Receptionist/Cashier for its operation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide answers to visitors and customers’ about the company, the products and terms of payments when necessary
- Coordinate activities around the front desk/reception premise
- Direct visitors and clients/customers to their desired destinations in the premise
- Sort and handle out mail messages whether incoming or outgoing
- Answer incoming calls on multi-line telephones
- Receive payments by cash, cheque, credit cards, or automatic debits
- Issue receipts, refunds or change due to customers
- Liaise with the Accountant or the Assistant Accountant for any matter relating to payments
- Perform varieties of other administration tasks as directed by Finance and Administration Manager; this could include faxing, emailing or even assisting other departments that need help
Profile:
- HSC with at least 5 years' experience as Receptionist and handling cash
- Possession of effective verbal communication skills is a very important prerequisite
- Microsoft Office Skills: A fair knowledge of the computer and how to use Microsoft Office package is required
- Customer focus and must be able to handle pressure when dealing with large amount of money
