The Shop Attendant assists the Boutique Supervisor in providing a quality, friendly and efficient service to all guests.

Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not limited to the following areas and activities. At Management discretion, direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work described.

• Serving guests in a polite, friendly helpful manner.
• To ensure that shelves are kept stocked and tidy.
• To keep the shop clean and tidy.
• To assist the Boutique Supervisor in stocktaking as required.
• Operating an electronic cash register and micros machine.
• Follows the boutique policies and procedures.
• Clearing any rubbish as and when needed; including leaflets.
• Re-stock shelves implementing a ‘stock rotation’ system.
• Keep ‘serving counter’ area clean and tidy at all times.
• Help keep store-room tidy.
• Check stock delivery details, ensuring correct stock has been delivered, price up and put stock on shelves in stock room.
