Analyst – Issuing (Cards Department)

Provide support to address the challenges and opportunities of the issuing business and enhance the cards department performance in this area. Through close monitoring, provide insights into cards issuing metrics with a focus on issued, collected and activated cards.

Job Purpose:

Provide support to address the challenges and opportunities of the issuing business and enhance the cards department performance in this area. Through close monitoring, provide insights into cards issuing metrics with a focus on issued, collected and activated cards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide back office and front office support during cards issuing campaigns / roadshows and visit counters on an as needed basis.
• Liaise directly with cardholders for specific initiatives
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and customers to catalyze progress on pending applications
• Collect and compile feedback from customers, counters and Credit Risk dept
• Maintain a good insight of competitors’ issuing products and derivatives.
• Monitor transactions in view of improving customer experience and turning all legitimate transactions into approved ones
• Monitor the no. of cards issued, collected and activated. Take appropriate actions to boost the no. of cards in circulation.
• Monitor account closure and undertake other duties assigned whether frontline at counters, back office or call centre.
• Support in the planning and management of cards issuing team.

Candidate profile:

• Degree / Diploma in a business related field is advantageous
• At least 3 years working experience preferably in the Cards and Payments industry
• Sound understanding of Cards Issuing
• Analytical skills
• Good oral and written communication skills (French and English)
• Ability to approach and engage with customers
