CMPL has pioneered the food retail industry in Mauritius, operating an outlet since 1975 under the franchise ‘Prisunic’ in Curepipe. To date, it operates three MONOPRIX outlets in Mauritius: Curepipe, Bagatelle and Cascavelle. CMPL is a member of the Harel Mallac Group.
The job incumbent shall act as key support staff to the Marketing Department in creating designs and managing Social Medias. He/She shall be responsible for implementing the strategy used in marketing the company's product online. The job incumbent shall be able to come up with strategies for creative artistic concepts.
Main Duties Include:
Makes use of innovate techniques to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time.
Creates designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
Works with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD);
Conceptualizes and creates illustrations that represent an idea or a story through two-dimensional or three-dimensional images.
Helps in building and executing a social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, and audience identification.
Monitors and reports on the success or otherwise of online media and develop strategies to enhance usage and contributions.
Continuously improves by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.
Helps in the development of E-commerce initiatives
Work Experience, Qualifications and Other Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-3 years in a dynamic work environment.
- A Diploma/Degree in Marketing or a related field
- A Certificate in Graphic Design and sound knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, illustrator and other editing software
- Knowledge of managing Online Media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube
- High fluency in English and French
- Dynamic, flexible and good creativity skills.
