Job Description: 


  • Maintain all Stores within the Main Stores Department.
  • Responsible for storage of both food & beverage and operational stock, including sanitation, temperature and rotation
  • Execute weekly inventories of Hotel Consumable, Food, Beverage.
  • Prepare Stores Areas in order to maximize space for receiving products.
  • Ensure that all products are being moved into proper storerooms within an acceptable time frame during loading procedure.
  • Cross check invoices and actual deliveries of hotel consumable, food, beverage and equipment and to prepare formal report on this to Cost controller.
  • Enter all consumable, food, beverage and equipment requisition on daily basis into electronic inventory system and ensure the numbers entered are correct all the time.
  • Review and maintain the par stock level for consumable, food, beverage and equipment
  • Work in close co-operation with all Departments Head and keeps control over items in stock.
  • Investigate any unusual shortages and reports it to Cost Controller/Purchase.
  • Calculate and ensure that all order forecasts and projections are based on requirements in food and beverage and general operations.
  • Ensure that slow moving item report, expiration date reports and list of eventual shortages of products in the Hotel Stores are being communicated with the Cost Controller ahead of the time.
  • Report immediately all damages, leakages and Stores technical problems.
  • Follow company and Hotel Stores Department policies and procedures.
    Ensure that the storeroom is safely locked and all electricity (heater, computer etc) is switched off before leaving
  • Keys to be signed in and out with Security
  • Responsible for the day-to-day check on the storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene.
  • Ensure standards for issuing and receiving stock within the stores are followed
  • Supervise store clerks.



Essential requirements & Qualifications: 


  • Should have previously worked in the Catering/Hotel / F&B sector. 


  • Should ideally have some experience in stock taking or knowledge in food & beverage. 


  • Minimum experience of 2-3 years in the same field 


  • Should have a good ability to co-operate, be service- minded and be willing to resume responsibility 


  • Should have very good organizational skills 


  • Must be a computer literate and familiar with Materials Control software


  • HSC and qualification in Store Management




  • Good communication skills
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to work under pressure.
