Our client is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled Grant Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Finance Department to prepare monthly NSIF Reporting.
- Prepare monthly expenses.
- Work in close collaboration with the Finance and Management in budget monitoring.
- Coordinate fundraising campaigns and donor engagement activities.
- Follow-up of donations (cash & materials) with proper recordings.
- Issue receipts and acknowledgement letters to donors.
- Follow up with the Management while ensuring that duly approved grants are properly handed over to the relevant departments for implementation.
- Assist the Management and the Strategic Marketing in the coordination, organization and delivery of the department’s activities.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of internal controls over grant receipts, donor fund management ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
- Track each grant from receipt through to expenditure closeout and ensuring full compliance with donor conditions and reporting deadlines.
- Ensure all grant-related transactions are supported by adequate documentation.
Profile:
- Higher School Certificate.
- ACCA (Partly Qualified).
- A minimum of 2 years working experience.
- Experience in NSIF would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and good planning skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
