This role requires both proactive planning and reactive problem-solving in high-pressure environments. The Project Engineer (Energy) will play a key role in delivering energy efficiency solutions, ensuring system reliability, and creating measurable value for both internal and external stakeholders through technical excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
Energy Audits & Efficiency Analysis:
- Conduct detailed energy audits for industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities.
- Analyze energy consumption patterns and identify opportunities for energy savings and optimization.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations and ROI analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local energy regulations and standards.
Energy Management Systems (EMS) Implementation:
- Design, install, and commission Energy Management Systems (EMS).
- Configure and integrate EMS with existing electrical infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and sustainability.
- Train clients and internal teams on EMS usage and reporting tools.
IoT / PLC / Edge Devices Installation:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot IoT devices, PLC systems, and edge computing equipment.
- Ensure seamless integration of smart devices with EMS and other digital platforms.
- Work on data acquisition systems for real-time monitoring and analytics.
Electrical Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in systems and equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical installations.
- Ensure minimal downtime through effective troubleshooting and rapid response.
- Support commissioning and testing of electrical systems.
Project Execution & Reporting:
- Manage and execute projects within defined timelines and budgets.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project updates.
- Monitor project performance and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Monitor and manage the accounts receivable portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and finance.
- Support business development initiatives with technical expertise.
- Participate in training programs and stay updated on emerging technologies
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in in energy systems, electrical installations, or industrial automation.
- Strong knowledge of energy auditing methodologies and energy efficiency technologies.
- Hands-on experience with IoT systems, PLC programming, and edge devices.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with Energy Management Systems (EMS) and data monitoring tools is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical software tools.
