Lorry Drivers

Shall be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently from one location to another.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the lorry to transport goods to designated locations
• Load and unload cargo (or supervise helpers)
• Ensure goods are secured properly during transport
• Plan routes and follow delivery schedules
• Inspect the vehicle before and after trips
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the lorry
• Keep accurate delivery records and obtain signatures
• Follow traffic laws and safety regulations
• Report any mechanical issues or delays

Skills & Requirements

• Valid driving license for heavy vehicles
• Good knowledge of road safety rules
• Ability to handle long-distance driving
• Time management and reliability
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Good communication skills

Working Conditions

• Long hours of driving
• May involve overnight or long-distance trips
• Exposure to different weather and road conditions
