Safety and Health Assistant

Support the Safety and Health Manager in the implementation of Safety and Health procedures, promotion of safe work practices, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, with the objective of maintaining a safe, healthy, and proactive working environment for all employees

In this role, the successful candidate will support the Safety and Health Manager in the implementation of Safety and Health procedures, promotion of safe work practices, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, with the objective of maintaining a safe, healthy, and proactive working environment for all employees.

• The ideal candidate should hold a Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field. Candidates currently pursuing a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety are also encouraged to apply.
• At least one year of experience in a safety-related role would be an advantage
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with a "safety-first" mindset are required.
• Knowledge of ISO Certifications, Health and Safety Management Systems would be a definite advantage.
