TotalEnergies Marketing Mauritius Ltd is looking for a Talent Developer.

 

ACTIVITIES

As part of your missions, you will be responsible for the following:

Talent Development

  • Provide development support for employees within the position’s scope (excluding HP and ManCom), in partnership with management.
  • With regard to behavioural, managerial and leadership skills, by defining each employee’s development goals and proposing appropriate actions while drawing on available resources: evaluations, training, coaching, etc.
  • By conducting career assessments at specified intervals or upon request.
  • By defining objectives for each employee’s professional development within the position’s scope and/or TE as a whole.
  • By assisting employees at each major stage of a job change (analyzing job postings, drafting a resume, preparing for hiring interviews, etc., and providing support when problems arise).
  • Manage mobility within your workforce.
  • Provides for appropriate staffing for all jobs within the position’s scope while monitoring compliance with the Company policies (diversity, etc.) and ensuring that resources and jobs are allocated in a way that meets the organisation’s needs.
  • Ensures the integrity, transparency and fairness of the internal mobility process and plays a role in decision-making.
  • Coordinates mobility activities within the position’s scope, within the segment and across TotalEnergies, including posting job openings and selecting candidates.
  • Support, challenge and develop managers in their role as manager-coach.
  • Manage people reviews in an advisory role informed by their knowledge of the workforce and the key skills required for the métiers within the position’s scope. Develop talent pools for each métier. Assists the manager in creating individual training plans.
  • Assess the potential of employees within the position’s scope in order to identify candidates for the Pre HP/ HP programs, bearing in mind TotalEnergies’ policies on diversity.
  • Advise and support the manager regarding organizational issues, interpersonal relationships and psychosocial risks.
  • Verify that employee skill sets correspond to organizational needs as métiers evolve and work with management to define what resources will be needed over the medium/long term. Assist in identifying outside recruitment needs.
  • Implement and help to adapt HR policies relating to operating personnel (merit-based raises, AP, AIR, HP employees, etc.) and provides support for compliance with those policies.
  • Assist in the job weighting process and in defining career paths.
  • Serve as the primary HR liaison for team managers within the position’s scope.

 

Recruitment

  • Manage all stages of recruitment, including advertising, briefing of agencies, posting of vacancies on Myjob.mu, screening, scheduling, participating/conducting interviews of candidates with departmental managers, preparing offer documentation, checking references and ensuring proper job orientation.
  • Responsible for organization and participation in career fairs; Host and participate in recruitment events and job fairs to network with potential candidates.
  • Files applications of candidates, updates recruitment database and send rejection emails/ messages to unsuccessful candidates during the recruitment process.
  • Ensure that all recruitment documentation are correctly completed by all interviewers and filed accordingly.
  • Monitor probation period for new recruits, internal movements and promotion.
  • Update and analyses monthly HR dashboard.
  • Prepare administrative letters and policy agreement letters for employees.

 

HR Policies and Guidelines

  • Assist the HR Director in updating the Company HR policies & procedures.

 

HR Operations Administration

  • Act as ‘owner’ of relevant elements in audits and ensure compliance with the associated responsibilities.

 

Employee Relations

  • Coordinate the TotalEnergies Survey campaigns, in collaboration with the HR Director.

PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s Degree or a recognised qualification in Human Resources Management or similar field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ previous experience in HR operations including recruitment and/or training and organisational development roles.
  • Ability to work independently; big-picture perspective; team spirit; open-mindedness.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to generate new ideas and demonstrate conviction and influence.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Fluent in English and French
