Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables
Present menus and explain daily specials
Take accurate food and beverage orders
Serve food and drinks professionally
Enter orders correctly into the POS system
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff
Ensure timely delivery of orders
Prepare and present bills to guests
Handle cash, card, or room charge payments accurately
Balance cash at the end of shift
Set up tables according to hotel standards
Clear and reset tables quickly
Maintain cleanliness of dining area
Check on guests during their meal
Handle complaints politely and report serious issues to supervisor
Ensure guests leave satisfied
Follow hotel service standards and grooming policies
Comply with hygiene and safety regulations
Attend shift briefings and training sessions
