TO MAINTAIN A HIGH STANDARD OF ALL THE PASTRY PRODUCTION IN THE PASTRY WHICH NEEDS TO BE ACCORDING TO THE STANDARDS REQUIRED BY THE MANAGEMENT.
As a Service Leader - Pastry Chef de Partie (Pastry & Bakery), we rely on you to:
• Work closely with the Pastry Chef to assure a smooth operation in all aspects of the kitchen operation.
• Be responsible for all the food sequence of preparation to assure that the products are properly handled and prepared in accordance with filed recipes.
• To have a complete understanding and adhere to the company’s policy relating to Food hygiene and Safe Food Handling practices.
• Be responsible for the proper production according to forecasted business of Pastry items along with freshness of products and serving times to minimize the amount of wastage.
• To reflect the Shangri-La philosophy by providing the highest quality of service to our customers and employees by always adopting a positive attitude and keeping the team spirit at the highest level.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
•School Certificate.
•Minimum 3 years experience in the Pastry/Bakery.
•Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
•People and customer oriented.
