Job Description
- Design, deploy, and support enterprise network security architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, and secure WAN solutions.
- Implement and manage firewall policies, NAT, routing, segmentation, and access control in line with security best practices.
- Deploy and support site-to-site and remote access VPNs (IPsec / SSL).
- Participate in network security migrations, upgrades, and optimization projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security incidents.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs and technical reports.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Presales Engineers, and Account Managers to deliver projects successfully.
- Provide technical support to customers locally and regionally, including participation in on-call support when required.
- Keep up to date with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry trends.
Candidate profile
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, routing, switching) with a security-first mindset.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls and security platforms.
- Solid knowledge of security protocols and technologies
- Experience with SD-WAN and secure connectivity solutions is an advantage.
- Familiarity with vendor technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in high-pressure environments.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a network or security engineering role.
- CCNA / CCNP / Fortinet NSE 4 or equivalent certifications are desirable.
- A Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field is an advantage.
