MEP Draughtman

We are seeking a technically competent MEP Draughtsman with strong execution-focused skills, including P&ID interpretation and 3D modelling, to support our project and site teams.

We are seeking a technically competent MEP Draughtsman with strong execution-focused skills, including P&ID interpretation and 3D modelling, to support our project and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings in accordance with contract documents, specifications, and site conditions
• Develop and interpret P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram) drawings for mechanical and plumbing systems
• Produce 3D MEP models for coordination, clash detection, and constructability reviews
• Prepare coordinated MEP layouts integrating architectural and structural drawings
• Generate accurate as-built drawings from site red-line mark-ups
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and MEP team
• Participate in coordination meetings and resolve clashes prior to installation
• Update drawings based on site instructions, RFIs, and consultant comments
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and document control

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as an MEP Draughtsman on the contractor side
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of P&ID diagrams
• Practical understanding of MEP installations and sequencing on construction sites
• Ability to interpret drawings, BOQs, specifications, and site constraints
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
