Job requirements:
• Minimum school certiicate Vocational Training, Trade Certificate or on-the-job training
• 1 year of relevant experience • Sound knowledge of working practices of the kitchen
- Assists other members of the kitchen brigade in ensuring that all day to day operational matters are handled on time and guest expectations are met.
- Ensures food preparation and presentation in relevant food production area conform to the requisite standards.
- Ensures that food is stored, prepared and secured hygienically and safely.

- Maintains standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen and related areas.
- Checks mise-en-place and preparation procedures ensuring that procedures are correctly followed.
- Reports any engineering defects to immediate supervisors.
