๐Ÿ”Ž About the Role

As a Assistant Kitchen Chief Steward, you will play a crucial role in our team, contributing to the overall guest experience and ensuring operational excellence. This role is ideal for a professional with a passion for cleanliness, hygiene, organization, leadership, and luxury hospitality.

๐ŸŒŸ What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Key Responsibility 1: Oversee the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, cooking equipment, exhaust systems, refrigerators, and storage areas, strictly adhering to HACCP and local health codes.

  • Key Responsibility 2: Monitor dishwashing machine temperatures, chemical usage, and preventative maintenance schedules to ensure optimal operation and sanitation effectiveness.

  • Key Responsibility 3: Manage the disposal of food waste and refuse in compliance with environmental and hygienic standards.

  • Key Responsibility 4: Assist in scheduling, supervising, and motivating the Stewarding Team.

  • Key Responsibility 5: Foster a positive and safe working environment, ensuring all staff are equipped with and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

โœ”๏ธ What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a stewarding or back-of-house supervisory role, preferably in a high-volume hotel, resort, or restaurant.

  • Skills: Ability to supervise, motivate, and train a diverse team under pressure.

  • Other Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy equipment or supplies.
