QBL is seeking a dynamic Manager- People and Culture to support and assist the Head of Human Resources in leading and executing HR operational and strategic activities within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
What you will be doing:
Talent Acquisition
- Support the Head of HR and on Workforce Planning and Talent Acquisition process
- Assist the end-to-end recruitment for operational and managerial roles, ensuring timely and high-quality hires.
- Partner with managers on workforce planning, manpower forecasting, and job design to meet business needs.
Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Deliver an engaging onboarding experience and coordinate cross-functional induction requirements.
- Manage exit processes, conduct exit interviews, analyse trends, and recommend retention strategies.
Industrial Relations & Trade Union Management:
- Assist Trade Union negotiations, grievance handling, and ensure compliance with labour laws and Collective Agreements.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on disciplinary matters, absenteeism, and employee concerns.
Employee Engagement & Culture:
- Implement engagement initiatives, run surveys, focus groups, and action plan follow-ups.
- Support embedding of organisational values through workshops, refresher sessions, and day-to-day practices.
Employee Wellbeing:
- Promote health, safety, and mental wellbeing programmes across the organisation.
- Coordinate welfare activities, CSR initiatives, and track wellbeing KPIs to improve programme effectiveness.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Maintain HR dashboards and assist in preparation of various HR reports.
- Analyse HR metrics to identify trends, provide insights and propose actionable improvements
What are we looking for?
- Strong Industrial Relations, labour law, and Union negotiation exposure.
- Recruitment, workforce planning, and HR analytics proficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder influencing skills.
- High emotional intelligence, proactive mindset, and resilience under pressure.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management.
- Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience with strong exposure to IR/ER or operational HR.
- FMCG, manufacturing, or unionized environment experience is an advantage.
- Proven experience leading engagement, wellbeing, and culture initiatives.
