STORE HELPER

You will support the store's daily functions by managing stock and ensuring the store remains clean and organized. This role requires excellent Technical & Operational Skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and document all merchandise delivered to the storerooms.
• Store and organize items systematically, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with HACCP and safety standards.
• Update inventory systems regularly and conduct physical stock counts to maintain accuracy.
• Ensure proper rotation of stock using the FIFO method to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Issue goods to departments based on authorized requisitions and update inventory records accordingly.
• Monitor stock levels daily, manage standing orders for fast-moving items and flag low/out-of-stock items.
• Assist in month-end inventory processes and reporting.
• Maintain security and accounting procedures within the storerooms.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing Department and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Foster effective communication with all departments to support operational needs.
• Report any incidents or accidents related to storeroom operations.
