The MEP Contract Manager (HVAC) will manage and oversee all contractual, technical, and financial aspects of HVAC projects, ensuring compliance, profitability, and timely delivery. This role bridges technical expertise with contractual management to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Supervision: Oversee the installation and after-sales service operations for HVAC systems, power tools, and MEP works, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to project specifications and timelines.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of technicians and installers, providing direction, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Quality Control: Monitor work quality on-site, conducting inspections and implementing corrective actions when necessary to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate the allocation of resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and meet project deadlines.
- Client Interaction: Act as a point of contact for clients during installation and after-sales services, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Technical Support: Provide hands-on technical support and problem-solving for complex installation and maintenance tasks, particularly related to HVAC systems.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all team members follow safety protocols and that work sites are maintained in a safe and organized manner, in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, installation records, and maintenance logs, ensuring that all documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
- Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of projects and prompt resolution of any issues that arise.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the installation and after-sales teams, providing feedback and implementing improvements where needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving work processes and service delivery, recommending and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
