Hatchery Technician

To assist the Hatchery team

Organise, monitor and record the live production

Daily water filter check and backwash

Work with fish larvae

Daily check of device to ensure that they are fuctioning properly (lights, Aircon and pumps..)

Cleaning and housekeeping facilities 

Fish handling performed in the hatchery (check fish, feed the fish and fish handling)

The candidate must be meticulous and independent and he should have willingness to work with fish in a wet environment

Ability to work on shift system as and when required (Morning, Evening or Night Shift)

Experience and Qualification

Minimum Form 02-03

Should be able to understand and write English / French

With the minimum experience in the field as Aquarist / Fish Farming / Aquaculture is a plus

Selected candidate will be trained for the Maintenance / Cleaning of filters and to work with the fish

We are looking for candidates preferably living from Grand Port up to Bel Air region
