Pre-Press Artwork Operator

The Pre-Press Artwork Operator is responsible for preparing jobs for print production using various design and pre-press software. This role ensures that all artwork is accurately processed and ready for printing within set deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process artwork files for print production, ensuring compliance with specifications and print guidelines.

• Identify and resolve artwork issues, liaising with clients to ensure files meet production standards.

• Impose and adjust artwork as per supplied guidelines to optimise print efficiency.

• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance workflow efficiency.

• Maintain accurate records of artwork changes, approvals, and production timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office programs.

• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all artwork meets high-quality standards.

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.

• A proactive and flexible approach to workload management, adapting to varying work volumes as needed.
