Health, Safety and Environment Officer

Drymix Ltd, a member of UBP Group is recruiting a Health, Safety and Environment Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and contribute to improve HSE strategies, systems, and procedures.
• Promote a strong safety culture through coaching, awareness campaigns, and training initiatives.
•  Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and monitor critical controls.
•  Lead investigations and root cause analyses of incidents, and recommend preventive actions.
•  Ensure compliance with local HSE legislation and company policies.
•  Collaborate with management to set site-specific HSE objectives.
•  Report HSE performance indicators and develop improvement plans.
•  Act as a liaison with local authorities and service providers.
•  Drive sustainability, wellbeing initiatives, and continuous improvement across the business.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health Management or related field.
•  At least 4 years’ experience in a similar HSE role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
•  Solid understanding of HSE legal frameworks, audits, and risk management.
•  Sound interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative and advisory approach.
•  Able to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and engage across all levels of the organization.
•  A problem-solver with initiative, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
