Accountant

Natec Medical LTD is a Company who is specialized in the design and the manufacture of medical catheters. We care about the Development of Medical High Technology to save lives around the world. We are now seeking for an Accountant who will team up with the Finance Department.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

Book keeping

• Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounts on a daily basis
• Carry out accounting activities
• Manage the company’s accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare supplier payments / book customer payments
• Proceed with customs declaration and payment
• Perform bank reconciliation
• Book stock entries
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register
• Filing & Archiving

Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of management reports
• Provide support to complete all reports pertaining to budgetary forecasts
• Prepare reports for external stakeholder

Statutory

• Participate in the preparation of the audit of the financial statements.
• Prepare and submit monthly and yearly statutory returns (Income Tax, Goods & Services, TDS, VAT)

Qualifications and Experiences:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of accounting
• Higher School Certificate
• ACCA Level 1/ Diploma in Accounting would be an advantage
• Knowledge of accounting systems and/or ERP

Skills and attributes:

• Be ready to be polyvalent on accounting scope.
• Good excel skills.
• Stock Accounting.
• Excellent English and French communication skills (both written and oral).
• Intermediate to advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications.
• Team player with infallible integrity and ethical standards that embody the Company’s core values.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others throughout the Company.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently; have the ability to learn rapidly; and possess sound critical thinking skills and a superior work ethic.
• Ability to analyse variances.
