Beachcomber Catering is looking for a motivated Pastry Cook to join their Business Unit.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chef in charge and the team to indulge in the preparation and baking of various types of cakes and pastries
  • Ability to work independently, following guidelines received from the Chef to produce quality outputs based on recipes and product specifications.
  • Ensure hygiene standards are always met
  • Maintaining cleanliness of your work space at all time; daily ‘’Clean As you go’’ practice to be strictly adhered to.
  • Strict adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
  • Collaborative approach to achieve departmental goals and meet deadlines.

Profile & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ or more experience in pastry, preferably in a catering or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Pastry techniques and food safety standards,
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or public holidays, as operational needs may require.
