Our client is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled Senior Finance Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and analytical reports.
• Prepare budgets, forecast, capital expenditure and cash flow statement.
• Follow-up of projects’ budget with different units.
• Able to set-up strategic plans for the Association.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable laws & regulations and with organization’s policies and procedures.
• Check and prepare all requests for payments and ensure that payment of invoices is done in due time and accurately.
• Monitor cash donation during Fundraising and cash donations in general.
• Prepare monthly Statutory returns and respond to any queries raised by relevant authorities.
• Manage monthly payroll processing.
• Produce financial dashboards as and when required by Management.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls framework for all financial transactions and ensure adherence to the organization’s financial procedures.
• Identify and assess financial risks across the organization escalating significant risks to Management and the Board as appropriate.
• Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, providing all required audit schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation.

Profile:

• Higher School Certificate.
• ACCA Qualified.
• A minimum of 5 years working experience.
• Experience in NSIF would be an advantage
• Excellent communication and good planning skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
