Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Team Leader – Timber Yard to oversee the day-to-day operations of our timber yard. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating material handling, supporting workshop requirements, and leading a team to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise loading, unloading, and proper storage of timber and materials.
• Organize and prepare timber according to cutting lists and operational needs.
• Coordinate delivery schedules between the yard and workshop.
• Monitor team performance and allocate tasks to ensure optimal productivity.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and liaise with the storekeeper.
• Ensure the yard is clean, organized, and free from hazards.
• Enforce compliance with health and safety standards and use of PPE.
• Conduct routine checks on tools and machinery to ensure proper functioning.
• Liaise with management and relevant personnel for operational support and issue resolution.

Candidate Profile:
• Proven experience in a similar role within a timber yard, construction, or industrial environment.
• Experience in supervising or leading a team.
• Basic knowledge of timber handling, cutting, and related tools.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Hands-on, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
