We are looking for a Driver/Handyperson to assist with dispatch/driver duties, as well as ensuring the general upkeep of the administrative building.

Key Responsibilities:

Driver Duties:

• Perform driver and despatch duties for Management, Operations and Administration staff.

• Driving the company vehicle safely and responsibly in full compliance with the Road Traffic Act and any other amendments/regulations as issued by the relevant authorities from time to time.
• Ensuring all health and safety precautions are taken when loading and unloading goods.
• Ensuring that the company vehicle is safe for travel through regular basic maintenance such as checking oil and tires and keeping the vehicle clean. Following up on servicing appointments with the garage.
• Work in collaboration with the Administrative Assistant to determine job priorities and establish a daily/weekly schedule, with route planning for dispatch and other driver duties.

General office upkeep:

• Assist in maintaining the administrative building in a safe, clean and secure condition. Carry out minor plumbing, joinery, electrical, carpentry and painting works on site.
• Assist with minor repair and maintenance works in the yard as and when directed by the operations team. Report on all repairs that require professional intervention.

Who We're Looking For:

🎓 Education:

• School Certificate.

💼 Experience:

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position.

⚙️ Skills & Attributes:

• Good command of English and French (spoken and written).
• Good communication skills and enthusiastic personality.
• Well-presented.
• Versatile individual who can take on a variety of tasks.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Valid certificate of morality.
