The French-Speaking Insurance Broker will be responsible for advising clients, structuring policies, negotiating with insurers, and managing end-to-end insurance solutions across a broad portfolio that includes both specialty FIN lines and general insurance products.
This role requires excellent communication skills in French and English, strong client relationship abilities, and solid technical understanding of diverse insurance categories.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Advisory (French & English)
- Manage a portfolio of French‑ and English‑speaking clients.
- Provide professional, tailored insurance advice.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and renewal terms.
- Maintain exceptional client service and act as a trusted advisor.
Specialty FIN & Corporate Risk Lines
Handle placement, servicing, and renewal of:
- Cyber Liability
- Directors & Officers Liability (D&O)
- Professional Indemnity (PI)
- Commercial Crime
- Medical Malpractice
- Single Project PI (SPPI)
- Film Producers Indemnity
- Kidnap & Ransom
General Insurance Lines
- Home & Motor insurance
- Medical and Travel cover
- Commercial insurance
- Support clients as one partner for all their insurance needs
Policy Structuring, Underwriting & Negotiation
- Source quotations and negotiate competitive terms.
- Analyse policy wordings, exclusions, and endorsements.
- Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines.
Administration, Compliance & Claims Support
- Process new business, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals.
- Maintain accurate and compliant client documentation.
- Assist clients with claims from notification through settlement.
Minimum Requirements
- 2–3 years’ experience in insurance broking or insurance advisory services
- Fluent French (spoken & written) and strong English communication skills
- Working knowledge of insurance products, policy structures, and client servicing
- Strong organisational, communication, and negotiation skills
- Client‑focused and service‑driven approach
