We are seeking highly motivated and dynamic individuals for the position of LPG Operator to execute all tasks related to receiving, storing, transferring and loading of LPG.

Key Responsibilities:

🔧 Operational coordination:

• Execute cargo transfers according to loading/discharge plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Operate all LPG related terminal equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure smooth operation and identify potential risks.
• Perform routine maintenance on terminal equipment to minimize downtime.

🚨 Safety and Compliance:

• Maintain awareness of personal and team safety and ensuring compliance with all procedures.
• Conduct routine safety inspections.
• Issue work permits to contractors and ensure all safety pre-requisites are met.

📊 Maintenance and Housekeeping:

• Perform preventive maintenance on various operating equipment, including pumps, valves and meters.
• Ensure proper upkeep of terminal infrastructure and maintain high housekeeping standards.

📝Emergency and Security Responsibilities:

• Participate in emergency drills and respond to incidents as required.
• Ensure all contractors, customers and vendors comply with security protocols.

🌟 Reporting and Communication:

• Maintain logs of equipment performance, safety checks and maintenance activities.
• Communicate product outages and equipment issues to supervisor.
• Report operational concerns and suggest improvements where necessary. 

Who We're Looking For:

🎓 Education:

• Higher School Certificate.
• Additional certification such as diploma in Electrical Maintenance, Instrumentation or Industrial Electronics is preferred.

💼 Experience:

• At least 2 years in a similar position.

⚙️ Skills & Attributes:

• Comfortable working in a facility environment with industrial hazards, varying temperatures and confined spaces.
• Ability to work on 12 hour rotating shift system.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel.
• Valid driving licence.
