team, reporting to the Senior Manager - IT Engineering & Integrations.

The RPA Developer will be responsible for analysing business processes, identifying automation opportunities, and developing scalable bots that reduce manual effort, errors, and costs across functions such as Finance, HR, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and test UiPath workflows for automating tasks involving Excel, Web Applications, ERP systems, PDFs, and Email processes, in line with defined requirements and standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and analysts to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, including basic exception handling and optimization.
- Support the maintenance of deployed bots by assisting with troubleshooting, updating documentation, and keeping abreast of relevant UiPath enhancements.
- Support internal stakeholders, including business analysts, and external clients by gathering detailed requirements, prioritizing high-impact automation, and delivering solutions that improve efficiency and business outcomes.
- Adhere to structured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices, including planning, design using REFramework, development in UiPath Studio, unit and integration testing, code reviews and controlled deployment through Orchestrator.
- Follow version control practices, use configuration files over hard-coding, and maintain proper documentation to ensure traceability.
- Handle production bot monitoring, troubleshooting using logs and Orchestrator insights, performance optimization and updates for new requirements or UiPath releases. Implement robust exception handling and scheduled health checks to support system stability.
- Apply UiPath best practices, including modular design, proper variable scoping, secure credential management, and structured error handling using Try-Catch blocks.
- Participate in peer reviews to enforce naming conventions, reusability, and compliance with enterprise governance standards.
- Actively contribute ideas to improve team effectiveness, collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, and seek input from other team members to support continuous improvement.
- Clearly document workflows using annotations, prepare status updates, and support presentations or demonstrations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Use clear logging and exception messages to enable effective handovers during support and escalation activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of a Diploma or Degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in designing, building and deploying RPA solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Hands-on experience in UiPath tools, including UiPath Studio and UiPath Orchestrator.
- Basic understanding of SDLC principles, version control, exception handling, and documentation standards.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain automation concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver effectively in a fast-paced, multi-country or group environment.
