Our client is seeking to recruit a Sustainability Analyst.

 

This role will support the Group in assessing, monitoring, and enhancing its environmental, social, and governance practices, while contributing to the development of robust sustainability frameworks and strategies that align with corporate goals and global standards.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Actively contribute to the analysis and assessment of climate risks in investments.
  • Manage quantitative and qualitative research projects focused on impact.
  • Evaluate project alignment with material issues, as well as investment and financial return.
  • Support projects relating to sustainability, including green, social, sustainable and sustainability-linked bonds and loans, Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI) verifications, sustainability ratings and benchmark assessments.
  • Define KPIs for project reporting to monitor and measure success; adjust them where necessary.
  • Assess, track, consolidate, and analyse sustainability data across Group business units, ensuring compliance with frameworks such as IFRS S1-S3, CSRD, VSME and GRI.
  • Contribute to the refinement of Governance & Reporting frameworks for sustainability.
  • Assist in the reporting process, including Annual Report content, sustainability disclosures, presentations, and proposals.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for project funding and grants for environmental initiatives.
  • Co-write accurate and compelling content for communication on sustainability projects.
  • Track and analyse climate commitments at global and regional levels to inform the company strategy.
  • Support double materiality assessments and stakeholder engagement processes, consolidating results into prioritisation tools.
  • Elaborate mitigation plans for ESG risks, ensuring alignment with Group priorities and stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate with auditors (internal and external) on sustainability reporting reviews.
 
Profile:

  • Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, CSR, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in sustainability analysis, ESG reporting, or related role.
  • Familiarity with international sustainability standards/frameworks (IFRS, CSRD, materiality, double materiality, GHG Protocol).
  • Strong analytical, research, and synthesis skills, with ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Proficiency in English and French; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
  • Disciplined, empathy and a keen eye for details.
  • High integrity, ethical mindset, and stakeholder-oriented approach.
  • Adaptability to change and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
