The IT operations and Security Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, cybersecurity posture, and technology strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Architecture & IT Strategy
• Design, maintain, and optimize the organization’s IT infrastructure roadmap.
• Align technology initiatives with overall business goals and objectives.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and security.
Cybersecurity & Governance
• Develop, implement, and manage cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Oversee endpoint protection, antivirus, email security, and threat detection systems.
Network & Infrastructure Management
• Configure, monitor, and maintain core network components including firewalls, switches, and routers.
• Ensure network performance, reliability, and high availability across LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN infrastructures.
• Proactively manage infrastructure capacity and performance.
Cloud & Systems Administration
• Administer and optimize the Office 365 environment (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Azure AD).
• Manage hybrid Active Directory and identity and access management systems.
• Oversee Windows/Linux server administration, patching, and system performance.
Data Protection & Backup
• Implement and monitor robust backup and recovery strategies.
• Conduct regular disaster recovery tests to ensure business continuity.
• Maintain data integrity across on-premises and cloud environments.
ERP Access & User Management
• Manage ERP user roles, access rights, and privilege assignments.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure appropriate access control and compliance.
• Support ERP-related integration and security initiatives.
Team Leadership & Vendor Management
• Lead, mentor, and develop IT support and infrastructure teams.
• Manage third-party vendors, service providers, and SLAs.
• Oversee IT procurement, licensing, and budget management.
Project Management
• Plan, execute, and deliver IT infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
• Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology rollouts.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within IT operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or enterprise architecture.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, cloud platforms (Microsoft 365/Azure), and ERP systems.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing vendors.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CCNP, CISSP, ITIL, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) are a plus.
